Drink your water the easy way!

Ok so you guys like water right?

You’re drinking a gallon a day like you’re supposed to?

Awesome!   Now here’s what I do to make life EVEN easier!!  Always a good thing right?
So I grocery shop about every two weeks.  I get a little lazy, not gonna lie!

I also like to prepare my Flavored Waters the night before in a pitcher in the fridge, so the water is nice and cold and the fruit flavor comes through prominently.  But of course, as we all know, evenings are busy.  I don’t have kids yet, but I’m imagining for you wonderful mommies, evenings are even busier!

So here’s a little tip, how I make my life just a touch easier, and hey, if life is easier, you’re more likely to stick with your goals right?  And one of my goals is to drink a pitcher (1 gallon) of water everyday.

So back to grocery shopping.  When I get home from the grocery store, I usually have some work ahead of me, and you guys problem know this, put everything away, wash fruits, veggies and lettuce.  I usually marinate some meats, etc.  So I added one other step to my routine, and it only takes a few minutes so it’s not bad!  So once I’m done washing fruits and veggies, (it’s important to really wash all your fruits for flavored waters since the peels and everything go into the water you’re going to drink)  I chop them up into large chunks and distribute them into sandwich bags, and in the freezer they go!  So what I have is usually 5-10 sandwich bags in my freezer of chopped fruits (or cucumber) and herbs or ginger.  By putting them in the freezer, you also turn them into little ice cubs, so they chill your water faster.  They also last a lot longer!
