Day 4- Fruit Syrup and Christmas Morning Mimosa Kit

This post for Fruit Syrup and Christmas Morning Mimosa Kit is Day 4 of the 12 days of a Foodie’s Christmas series!  For 12 days I’ll be presenting you with recipes for easy gifts for everyone on your list!  For the overview and the rest of the recipes you can visit here.

The kids open presents, we open champagne bottles.  Sounds like a win win!  And because with breakfast you should always have some fruit, we’re also making fruit syrups.  Ok, that’s a mild joke, don’t email me.  Obviously a fruit and sugar syrup is not a replacement for a healthy breakfast with a whole fruit side.  These fruit syrups are so good you can put them on

  1. Pancakes
  2. Cinnamon Rolls
  3. Ice Cream
  4. Ice with Vodka and Soda
  5. Your hand
  6. A spoon

See the possibilities are limitless!  Just like the fruit you can use.  Today, I am using blueberries, because, yumm!

Your gift can be more elaborate with custom engraved champagne flutes like the ones shown.  Or more simple with simply a champagne bottle and a bow, depending on recipient of this gift.  Either way, whoever receives this gift, will be thrilled!

See you tomorrow!
